The conductors homenajean to San Cristóbal with an exhibition of classic cars
The lovers of the four wheels could enjoy yesterday the static exhibition of classic vehicles that the EscuderÃa de Melilla organized on the occasion of the festival of San Cristóbal, landlord of the conductors, as well as of the District of Battery J, for that reason the Brotherhood of the Flagellation yielded a beautiful image to them of santo who was procesionada in the evening in the route by the streets of the city that was offered with the vehicles of the sample. As it broaches to the day, a dinner in the Marine Club was developed in which the title of president of Honor of the EscuderÃa de Melilla was granted to the president of the City, Juan Jose Imbroda.
Passed eleven and the average one in the morning the static sample of classic vehicles was inaugurated yesterday in the Place of San Lorenzo organized by the EscuderÃa de Melilla, an organization that was created in 1997 and which it agglutinates to the lovers of the four wheels and the classic designs in Melilla. The public could admire the vehicles and photograph itself next to them.
In the evening a test of ability was carried out in which these old vehicles completed a circuit with obstacles in the street Civil Guard Antonio Oil mill. Later a stroll by the streets of Melilla was carried out carrying the image of San Cristóbal. The first shutdown was in center Welfare. At the end of the route the participants went to the dinner anticipated in the Marine Club where the trophies of the competitions of afternoon were given, as well as the award of President of Honor of the EscuderÃa de Melilla to president Imbroda.
